Today I’m taking a look at the Queensland Government website. I can’t remember having a good experience finding information on any government website, so I thought this would be a fun exercise!
I had a look at the current home page, the structure, layout and accessibility, and then I redesigned the header and hero section.
My aim was to simplify the user experience, but still make it easy for people to find the information they are looking for (which can be tricky when you’re dealing with the massive amount of information a government website contains!)
